“Parent University”

All families deserve to thrive!

Hope Women’s Center and AZ Foster Care Initiatives are two organizations committed to seeing families thrive. They have partnered together to create the “Hope Initiative for Healthy Families” also known as “Parent University”!

For families to be healing environments where children and youth can thrive, the family must first be whole emotionally, spiritually, physically, and mentally. The Hope Initiative for Healthy Families/“Parent University” seeks to provide wholistic support to women whose children are at risk of entering the foster care system or are currently in the foster care system through a collaborative effort of education, case management support, 1:1 parent coaching support, and an identified “Community Family Support Team”.

See the Hope Initiative Brochure 2015 for more information on the program and how you can be involved!

This program helped give me Hope! I have made positive changes in my life and am working on re-unifying with my children.”

This program helped give me hope during a heartbreaking time. My mentor was by my side through everything and helped me get organized and more knowledgeable about each phase of my DCS case.”
