Our Apache Junction Center was founded in 1984 and has been serving the East Valley for the past 30 years!
The Center is located on Ironwood, just north of Apache Trail.
Current Hours of Operation:
Our Center programs include education, mentoring, material resources, free pregnancy testing, and community resource referrals.
Our education classes meet weekly and consist of topics such as parenting, healthy relationships, job skills/GED testing prep, ESL, crafting, nutrition, pre-natal & infant care, sewing, faith-based classes, and more! Two recent classes starting this Fall include “Griefshare” and “The Emotionally Destructive Relationship.”
Our mentors meet one on one with a woman weekly to help her navigate whatever difficult life situation she may be facing from crisis pregnancy to domestic violence/abuse, family conflict, poverty, unemployment, etc. We also have several support groups, including abuse recovery, that meet weekly.
Our Women’s Resource Room offers women an opportunity to use their earned education and mentoring “client cash” (points) to purchase needed items such as toiletries, clothing, diapers, baby items, food, household items, and utility assistance.
